Profiles

Why should I complete my profile?
Giving the right signals to clients will increase your chance to get the project.
Your profile will automatically be sent to clients when you apply for a project. Clients will assess whether you’re the best fit for their project best on the signals showcased on your profile..
What makes a complete profile?
Only builders with complete profiles will have their applications to projects approved. Be sure to have these sections of your profile filled:
- Personal Info
- LinkedIn profile
- Calendly Link
- Skills
- Selected Work
- Project Preferences
How can I give better signals to potential collaborators?
Reputation Points (Honey)

- Reputation is built up through adding discussions on the forum where fellow builders are able to praise you for your contributions and advice.
- Honey signals your credibility as an expert in your domain. The higher your honey, the more the Swarm community trusts you, giving you a higher chance of landing awesome projects!
Skills

- Let everyone know what you can do. You can add as many skills as you want to your profile.
- Community members can also add skills to your profile by giving you Pollen on your comments at the Forum discussion boards
- Your proficiency in each skill is measured by the amount of Honey (Reputation Points) you’re rewarded for it.
Projects

- Past work is one of the first things clients look for in a builder, be sure to showcase your best ones on your profile.
- We recommend you use clear and eye catching thumbnails, appropriate project tags, and a straight to the point description that captures the projects demands and your contribution to it.
- If you’re applying for a project, we recommend featuring a past project that most resembles the project you’re applying for. That way, clients can immediately see that you’re a great fit for them.
Project Preferences

Role Preferences
- Declare the primary role you want to take so we can match you with your preferred projects. You can choose between Designer, Developer, Product Manager, and Founder.
Project Preferences
- Add tags on the skills you specialize in and describe the kinds of projects you want to work on.
- It’s all about being the perfect fit so be specific. You can talk about: the part of the building process you excel in, the industries you want to work in, the kinds of outputs you want to create, the kind of experience you want to have with your chosen collaborators.
Project Availability
- Let the community know when you’re available to work on projects.
